The Budget Office oversees the UNT budget while supporting those who maintain the budgets of other areas on campus. The Training and Resource pages offer a variety of tools to assist with those goals.

If you would like to receive information regarding updates, current budget trainings, and news from the Budget Office, please send an email from your UNT account with your full name and title to Budget.Office@unt.edu. 

UNT faculty and staff at our Denton and Frisco campuses may need access to the following tools. Please see below for additional details. HSC, UNT Dallas, and UNT System users may request access by visiting the UNT System Finance Reporting page

Access steps for Denton/Frisco users

Cognos Access

ABA Access (Approver or Entry)

  • You must first complete complete ABA training in order to have access. Please take the training prior to sending your access request. Find training dates and information on our Training and Trainings Available pages.
  • Once you have completed the ABA training, email Budget.Office@unt.edu with your EUID (xxx0000)

Other Access Requests

All other access requests are fulfilled by the appropriate Department/Team. Most access requests require a completed training certificate. Please review the end of each training module to learn who/how to request access
