It is our pleasure to announce FY20 budgets have been loaded and are now available for your review using COGNOS reports. For those of you who have non-budgetary funds and/or budgetary funds that are eligible for roll-forward, we anticipate starting the FY19 budget close and roll October 15, 2019. This is one day after the UNT Controller Office will be complete with their FY2019 year-end process.
Please be advised that the old Cognos reports are being restored to yesterday’s backup, as of 7/30/19.
Note that this does not affect the newly released FIN reports.
Please note: July's Open Lab is rescheduled to meet next Friday, on July, 26th from 9am-11am in SSB 105.
Open Lab will resume in August at its regularly scheduled day and time: the 3rd Friday of each month.

The UNT System Budget & Analytics team has informed us that there were some data issues early this morning with Cognos.
ITSS and UNT System were able to restore the Cognos data to what it was yesterday. This means that the data in Cognos is Wednesday EIS data.

The University Budget Office has successfully transitioned to our new home at the SSB (Support & Services Building). Computers and phones have been restored.

Our ITSS group is proactively trying to avoid any further issues with the Cognos reports.
To improve stability on the system, Cognos will undergo maintenance at 5pm today and will be unavailiable until Saturday morning.
Please plan accordingly.
We believe we had a successful refresh process last night. COGNOS reports are available and should have fresh data. We’ve spot checked a few areas and all seems to be fine. But, if you find any anomalies please let the Budget Office team know so that we can research the issue. We would like to extend thanks to our colleagues: UNT Decision Support, UNTS ITSS, and UNTS Budget & Analytics for their diligent work to get us back online.

We have been notified by UNT System Budget and Analytics that there are data issues on the Cognos environment. There were some issues on the data load last night, therefore Cognos environment data is not consistent and it will be disable for the day.
